Canada will (finally!) be a mature, confident nation when it is able to embrace it's American heritage the way it does its Native, French, Chinese, Haitian, East Indian, Jamaican, British, Scottish, etc, etc, etc. Every year, 10,000 Americans come to call Canada their new home, but I think Canada is afraid to acknowledge their cultural contribution because it's afraid of being culturally swallowed. But some day, maybe, Canada will know who it is and will no longer be afraid.

Looking at the traffic to this website, I see that I have some visitors from Israel, Russia, Luxembourg & the Seychelles! That's so exciting! Maybe I'll go on tour there someday!
For years, working with the Cowichan Folk Guild, I would feel a little sorry for the fantastically talented musicians who were working so hard to flog their CDs. And now I'm one of them! Without the talent, that is.
But it's really all about the music. I recorded these songs because I love them and want to share them, or else because I wrote them, some of them. And maybe they'll change the world.
Or not. But they've changed me, or rather, this whole experience has changed me.
